Pablo Torre wants to leave Barcelona on loan

Pablo Torre is reportedly already thinking about leaving Barcelona on loan and fancies a return to former club Racing.

The youngster only joined the club in the summer, but according to Diari ARA, he is not too keen on the idea of playing for Barca Athletic next season.

Torre was expected to train with the first team but will return to Barca Athletic if not called up for match days, but he doesn’t seem to be too committed to that plan.

The report states that Torre “believes his time in the Primera RFEF is over” and would prefer to return to Racing, who play in the Segunda Division in 2022-23.

Torre arrived at Barcelona amid quite a lot of expectations after impressing at Racing and already being compared to Pedri.

However, it’s hard to see him emulating Pedri and going straight into the first team as Xavi has a range of options in midfield.

The report reckons Barcelona have yet to decide exactly what to do with Torre as they are still waiting to finalize their first-team squad for the new campaign.

However, a meeting is planned “in the next few days” where both sides will “agree on a quick solution” to the current situation.
